Meet our team

We’re a group of parents, carers, teachers and friends of the school who work together to enhance every child’s experience at Martley. The simplest way to describe what we do? We add a little extra sparkle to school life.

We’re an active, friendly team of volunteers who give our time to organise events, support school activities and raise funds that directly benefit all pupils. Every activity we run helps create memorable moments, strengthen our school community and provide opportunities that go beyond the classroom.

 

What We Support

We focus our fundraising and volunteering on areas that align with the school’s priorities. This year, our key themes are wellbeing, science, and reading—all chosen to help every child thrive.

So far this year we’ve been able to support the school by funding:

  • Three new school benches, creating more comfortable outdoor spaces
  • Materials for STEM Week, sparking curiosity and creativity
  • Resources for Pre‑School, helping our youngest learners to thrive

Alongside fundraising, we also roll up our sleeves to support the wider school community. This includes helping to assemble new sports equipment, running school events, and pitching in with on‑site maintenance whenever extra hands are needed – allowing our teachers to focus on our children.
